When Old School Vintage Meets an iPhone Case

When Old School Vintage Meets an iPhone Case

I miss the 80's. The music, movies, concerts and the clothes - well, maybe not the apparel. I can remember when a concert ticket was only 15 dollars and seating in general admission was a party, but as cheesy as we 80's babies were, you can't help to but reminisce about the old days.

Shoot, I still watch every 80's movie with Molly Ringwald and the best part of Weird Science was the beginning in front of the girls, before their pants were pulled down (Dead-on!). And for you former head-bangers out there, my ears still ring with Metallica, Motley Crue, Skid Row, Ratt, Pantera, Iron Maiden, and Van Halen to name a few on my iTunes list.

In keeping with that era, we have two new Vintage cases to help bring you back to the days of graffiti, boom boxes and the rise of hip-hop music. We don't have Run DMC on the covers, but once you see it, you will get the picture.

This beauty, if you look closely, is an iPhone case, but don't let that back cover fool you, it really looks like a Boom Box and all the buttons and holes match to your iPhone model.

The next cover looks like a real cassette tape. God, how many of those do you still have laying around? Oh wait, I have a box in my garage collecting dust. Maybe I will put them up for sale on eBay, but I cannot help but keep them for nostalgia reasons.

I think the design of these cases might prevent someone from stealing your phone if they see the back cover; who still wants a cassette tape? Seriously, its wickedly cool and the look and feel is spot on. If you love oldie-but-goodies like me, adding this to your collection of cases will get a lot of attention.

If any of you have these, tag us on Instagram @purdycase and tell me what you think!
